ANEW-LIFE
Supporting Ukraine’s clean energy transition
Despite the challenges of ongoing conflict, Ukrainian cities are stepping forward to lead the clean energy transition. ANEW-LIFE is a European funded project committed to empowering local governments and communities to rebuild a cleaner, more resilient energy infrastructure in Ukraine. ANEW-LIFE develops and tests innovative financing mechanisms that make urban energy reconstruction not only possible, but sustainable. Starting with three pilot cities —Zhytomyr, Kalush, and Nizhyn— the project lays the foundation for broader national and European replication.

Replication Across Ukraine and the EU
Sharing results and methodologies with at least 10 Ukrainian and 10 European cities, promoting broad adoption
